i was totally freaking out about the date but i think it went pretty well! whew! 🙂 we met up at pizza parade, they usually have a lot of different stuff and i knew ty was vegan so i figured we could probably find something yummy to eat. we ended up getting a pesto, garlic, and potato pizza. ty thought it was really good and he said he had a killer recipe for tempeh pizza if i wanted to try it. i can’t believe i’m rambling like this about pizza! moving right along …
at dinner we talked about everything from my obsession with stupid reality shows to all the time he spent at different schools. turns out that he’s moved around a lot not cuz he did anything wrong (so much for that bad boy rumor around school) but because his mom has some job where they have to move around all the time. his dad isn’t around and his mom works all the time and that means he’s stuck babysitting his brothers and sisters most of the time. and whenever his mom gets moved around the whole family has to pick up and start all over again. but he sounded proud of his mom, which is totally cute. i hope she doesn’t have to move again soon. she’s some kind of investigative reporter … i bet we have a lot in common, i should tell her about my snooping skills! i’d have to leave out the part about ty, of course! 😉
i thought we’d probably just take off after dinner but it turns out it was karaoke night at pizza parade and ty thought it’d be funny to stick around and watch people so i said ok … but then after like the third song he went up there and dragged me up there with him! i almost died! i can NOT sing. AT ALL. but he insisted cuz he thought i was just being shy. so i’m like, ok, fine, and i picked out an old snoop dogg track, figuring it would be less painful if i didn’t actually have to sing, but i totally forgot the words and i couldn’t keep up with the beat and ended up having to make up lyrics about like my cat and her litter box!! what was i thinking?!??! ty on the other hand was a total boy diva, he did nelly AND avril lavigne (ha!) AND the new justin timberlake song!! i swear that boy could be on american idol!!!
after he sang his cute little heart out, he walked me home (how romantic!) and i was like, sooo, is he gonna kiss me, should i kiss him, does my breath totally reek of garlic, will there be tongue involved??? and he leaned over and gave me a cute little smooch on the cheek and that was that. i think i’m in love!!! 🙂
