St. Louis: Teen Advocates for Sexual Health (TASH) meeting

Organization: Teen Advocates for Sexual Health (TASH)
Description: Teen Advocates for Sexual Health (TASH) is a teen group in St. Louis that meets at the Planned Parenthood of the Central West End in St. Louis, MO. TASH members talk about issues that affect the sexuality of teens in the St. Louis area, including sexual health education in schools, pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, healthy relationships, and much more! TASH meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at 4251 Forest Park Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108. Food is always plentiful, and transportation will be provided if necessary.

The Info Place

Description: The Info Place was created to provide accurate sexual health information to teens and young adults. It's a friendly space staffed by knowledgeable, non-judgmental Planned Parenthood educators and volunteers. We welcome visits with questions about contraceptive options, sexually transmitted infections, gynecological exams, pregnancy testing and counseling, abortion services, healthy relationships, emergency contraception, etc. All discussions and personal information are kept confidential.

Join Teen Council 2007-2008!

Organization: Planned Parenthood of the Columbia/Willamette
Description: Teen Councils are unique opportunities for teens aged 15–18 to gain valuable information, increase their leadership skills, and make a difference in their communities. The Teen Council is a yearlong peer education program with 50 hours of intensive training, which includes a retreat for the group. The group continues to meet throughout the year to receive further training and to plan and provide creative, informational, and exciting programs for their peers as well as for their larger community. Applications are available online in both English and Spanish.
