Your Question:

Dear Experts,

If you are on the pill and you are sexually active, is it okay to let the guy cum inside of you? Or is there still a risk of getting pregnant?

mander93

The Answer:

Dear mander93,

When used correctly, the pill is up to 99.7 percent effective against pregnancy — which means a guy can ejaculate in your vagina.

But remember, the pill offers no protection against sexually transmitted infections — only latex and female condoms reduce the risk of infection as well as pregnancy. It's a good idea to use condoms every time you have sex if you want to protect against sexually transmitted infections as well as pregnancy.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
