Your Question:

Dear Experts,

can Vaginitis go away on its on. or do you need medicaton??

nina80

The Answer:

Dear nina80,

If you think you may have vaginitis, it's important to visit a health care provider for treatment.

Vaginitis can be caused by three different infections: trichomoniasis, candidiasis (yeast infection), and bacterial vaginosis. There are different treatment options for these infections.

Vaginitis can also be caused by douching and other irritants such as perfumed soap, and so-called "feminine hygiene" sprays. The best thing to do is have your health care provider determine what the cause is.
