Dear floweremily,
You may gain weight at some point, or you may not. Either way is normal. Puberty is a tough issue for all teens. But for those of us who have to wait while we watch all our friends develop, it can be even tougher. And how quickly you develop in your teen years doesn't necessarily affect how you'll look as an adult.
Puberty is a good time to start talking to your parents about their experiences when they were your age. You can also talk a health care provider if you have questions that you don't want to ask your parents.
