Your Question:

Dear Experts,

Is it normal for a girl to grow hair around her belly button region?

sweetpee09

The Answer:

Dear sweetpee09,

It's totally normal for girls (and guys) to have hair on their stomachs and other parts of their bodies. But it can make some girls feel embarrassed because they may think that women aren't supposed to have hair on their bodies, even though it's natural. Hair on the stomach doesn't need to be removed unless it really bothers you.

Whether someone chooses to shave, trim, or remove body hair is ultimately a personal choice, and it's usually done for cosmetic reasons. If people choose to trim their body hair, the amount they decide to remove is up to them.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
