Your Question:

Dear Experts,

is it possible that masturbation permanently relaxes the muscles on one side of the penis so that it curves to either side?

nokia2100

The Answer:

Dear nokia2100,

No, this is not possible. Masturbating will not change any aspect of your physical appearance. However, masturbation does have a number of physical and mental health benefits, such as relieving stress and physical tension. Many people masturbate to relax, to feel good, and it can help some people fall asleep.

It's very normal for a guy to have curvature to his penis. Generally, it's caused by a plaque or scar forming inside of the penis that pulls the entire shaft to curve to the side or in a downward direction. The curve may stem from a complication during circumcision, and sometimes it's from different kinds of trauma to erectile tissue in the penis during an erection. Unless it's causing painful erections or problems in sex play, there's no reason to do anything about penile curvature.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
