Your Question:

Dear Experts,

Is it safe to have sex in a hotub? I've also herd that if you "jack off" in a hot tub you may get a girl pregnant if shes in there with you.

datawire1993

The Answer:

Dear datawire1993,

It is not possible for a woman to become pregnant if there is pre-ejaculate ("pre-cum") or ejaculate in the water of a pool or bathtub. However, pregnancy is possible if ejaculate or pre-ejaculate comes into direct contact with a woman's vagina during sex play — in the water or on dry land.

Otherwise, having intercourse in the water is not dangerous. However, it may not be very comfortable because water can wash away the lubrication in the vagina, causing unpleasant friction.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
