The ring is about two inches across, and it is made out of soft, flexible plastic. If you've put the ring in your vagina correctly, you shouldn't be able to feel it at all. If you can feel it, you may need to push it further into your vagina. Some women worry that their partners will feel the ring during intercourse, but most partners say they can't feel it.

When used correctly, the ring is 99.7 percent effective against pregnancy. However, the ring does not provide any protection against sexually transmitted infections.
