Your Question:

Dear Experts,

how long can male sperm live inside a women

quikjohnson

The Answer:

Dear quikjohnson,

About six days. That's why most pregnancies result from intercourse that takes place in the six days that end in ovulation. It can take up to six days after intercourse for the egg to be released and join with the sperm to form a fertilized egg. Then, it can take another six to 10 days for the fertilized egg to completely implant itself in the lining of the uterus. Pregnancy begins during implantation, when the hormones needed to support pregnancy are released.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
