Your Question:
Dear Experts,
can being sexually active change your cycle?
whitegirl2507, 04.12.07
The Answer:
Dear whitegirl2507,
Having sex does not change a woman's period unless she becomes pregnant as a result of unprotected vaginal intercourse. Women do not get their periods when they are pregnant. Once a pregnancy begins, a woman's body begins to release hormones to support the pregnancy. The hormones also prevent menstruation and ovulation.
Hope this information helps!
