Your Question:

Dear Experts,

I'm a 16 year old girl and I like to fantasize that I am a guy having sex with another guy. I don't wish that I were a guy, so why do I do this? Is it normal?

Capricorn

The Answer:

Dear Capricorn,

Yes, this is normal. Many people have sexy thoughts, fantasies, or dreams about people of the same sex as well as the opposite sex. This doesn't mean that you wish you were someone you aren't.

Enjoying our sexuality is a normal, natural part of life. For many people, however, there is so much guilt, embarrassment, and shame associated with sex and masturbation that the pleasure is lost. People who worry so much about sex that it interferes with their pleasure can benefit from professional counseling.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
