Your Question:
Dear Experts,
if you dont throw up can you still be prenget?
eeeelyn, 12.14.06
The Answer:
Dear eeeelyn,
Yes. Women who are pregnant often throw up and experience nausea from the sixth week to the 13th week of pregnancy. Often called morning sickness, this nausea is caused by the shifts in a woman's hormones as her pregnancy develops. But some women don't have noticeable morning sickness, and they can be pregnant and have a baby without ever having it.
The only way to be sure of a pregnancy is to take a pregnancy test, either using a home kit purchased at a drug store, or by going to a health clinic for testing. Call 1-800-230-PLAN to make an appointment for a pregnancy test at a Planned Parenthood health center near you.
Hope this information helps!
