Your Question:
Dear Experts,
If I swallow ejaculate will it do any harm to me, and could it in any way get me pregnant?
xosweetiepie, 09.18.06
The Answer:
Dear xosweetiepie,
Ejaculation can happen during oral sex - using one's mouth to stimulate a partner's genitals. Oral sex can't cause pregnancy, and it's very low risk for HIV. In general, oral sex is also lower risk than vaginal intercourse for other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). However, oral sex can put both partners at some risk for other STIs, including gonorrhea, herpes, HPV, and syphilis, among others. Using condoms to cover the penis or Glyde dams to cover the vulva or anus can further reduce the risk of infection.
Hope this information helps!
