Your Question:
Dear Experts,
My girlfriend and I were fooling around in a pool and I ejaculated, but I was three to four feet away by the time it happened. Is there a chance she'll get pregnant?

The Answer:
Dear westgplayer24,
No. It's not possible for a woman to become pregnant if there is ejaculate or pre-ejaculate in the water of a pool or bathtub. Sperm survive well in moist, warm places that are around body temperature. Pools are too cold, have too much chlorine, and too much water for sperm to survive. However, pregnancy is possible if ejaculate or pre-ejaculate comes into direct contact with a woman's vulva or vagina during sex play in the water or on dry land.
Hope this information helps!
