Your Question:
Dear Experts,
what are genetal warts and wat do they look like?
Ade2hottie, 04.21.06
The Answer:
Dear Ade2hottie, Genital warts are caused by certain types of HPV the human papilloma virus. They are often flesh-colored, soft and dry to the touch, and look like miniature cauliflower florets. Usually they grow in more than one place and may cluster in large masses. Genital warts usually are painless but may itch. The warts can be annoying or unattractive, but they are harmless. Very often, genital warts fade away by themselves, but sometimes they need to be removed. Only a health care provider can diagnose genital warts.
