Your Question:

Dear Experts,

I'm afraid of kissing boys, not so much I won't like it, but I'm always afraid I'm doing it wrong and he'll go tell his friends, and I will be the girl not to kiss. What do I do?

softballbabe92

The Answer:

Dear softballbabe92,

Kissing someone for the first time can feel intimidating, and many people are nervous about it! The truth is, the first time a person kisses someone, it can be awkward — just about everyone experiences that at one point or another!

Because everyone likes to be kissed differently, there is no "right" way to kiss — but things usually go better when partners let each other know what feels good and what doesn't. It's also important for partners to be clear with each other about what they do or don't want to do. Everyone is different, with various likes and dislikes, so communication is key!

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
