Your Question:
Dear Experts,
are female condoms more effective than male and which gives it more feeling?
mjrican, 08.18.05
The Answer:
Dear mjrican,
Latex condoms are up to 98 percent effective against pregnancy. Polyurethane male condoms are slightly more likely to break than latex condoms, but they are nearly as effective. There are also polyurethane female condoms, which are up to 95 percent effective against pregnancy when used correctly. Both latex and polyurethane condoms reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections.
People have different experiences with condoms and sensation. Some men prefer female condoms to latex condoms because they can be less restricting to the penis, and they don't require a man to maintain his erection during sex. Other people find that get they more sensation when using latex condoms. Also, different brands of condoms may produce different sensations. When it comes to condoms, partners may want to try out different kinds to see what they like best.
