Your Question:
Dear Experts,
one of my testes hangs short and the other one hangs long. what does this mean?
plasma, 05.20.05
The Answer:
Dear plasma,
This is normal most men's testes (testicles) hang unevenly to protect them from being crushed between the legs.
The two testes produce and store sperm starting at the time of puberty. The testes hang away from the body in a sac of muscle and skin called the scrotum. This keeps them cooler than the rest of the body in order to allow the production of sperm.
During sexual excitement, sperm move out of the testes and into the urethra through tubes called the epididymides. They mix with other fluids to produce semen, which comes out of the penis through the urethra when a man ejaculates.
Hope this information helps!
