Each drop of healthy ejaculate (also known as semen or "cum") contains millions of sperm. Semen also contains fluids from the seminal vesicles and the prostate gland.

Pre-ejaculate (also known "pre-cum") is produced by the Cowper's glands. It leaks into the urethra before ejaculation to smooth the way for sperm to travel during ejaculation.

Usually, between a teaspoonful and a tablespoonful of ejaculate is released at a time.
