Your Question:
Dear Experts,
If a girl gives a guy oral sex, can she get pregnant?
Queensushi, 12.15.04
The Answer:
Dear Queensushi,
No, it's not possible to become pregnant from oral sex stimulating a partner's sex organs with one's mouth whether ejaculate is swallowed or not. Pregnancy can happen if ejaculate or pre-ejaculate gets in the vagina or on the vulva.
However, unprotected oral sex on a woman or on a man puts both partners at risk for a number of sexually transmitted infections, whether they are giving or receiving genital stimulation. These infections include chancroid, cytomegalovirus, gonorrhea, hepatitis B, herpes, human papilloma virus (HPV), herpes, syphilis, and, rarely, HIV and chlamydia. For safer oral sex, use a condom to cover the penis, or a Glyde dam or plastic wrap to cover the vulva or anus.
Hope this information helps!
