Your Question:

Dear Experts,

I really want to go on the Pill, but I can't pay $30 a month for it. Is there anyway I can get it for free or an adjusted price?

paradice34

The Answer:

Dear paradice34,

All Planned Parenthood health centers are committed to providing services to teens at the lowest possible cost. Many Planned Parenthood centers offer services on a sliding scale.

To make an appointment, you can call our toll-free nationwide appointment number, 1-800-230-PLAN. Your call will automatically be connected to the Planned Parenthood health center nearest you. When you call for an appointment, be honest with the staff about your financial situation.

You may also want to contact other clinics in your area and find out what their costs are for teens. Many clinics will have reduced rates for teens and some may offer free services.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
