Your Question:

Dear Experts,

I know that my boyfriend can wear a condom to help me with "protection" during oral, but what about if I want to do stuff with his balls? He can't wear a condom there, is it safe to give oral there as well?

Learning

The Answer:

Dear Learning,

Used correctly, condoms reduce the risk of infections that are transmitted through oral, vaginal, or anal intercourse. However, condoms only cover the shaft and tip of the penis, leaving the scrotum (the sac of skin that holds the testicles) and the rest of the genital area uncovered.

Compared to sexual intercourse, oral contact with the testicles is relatively low-risk, safer sex. Most people are likely to do it without protection. However, because some sexually transmitted infections, like herpes or HPV, can be spread through skin-to-skin contact, it is possible that someone might further reduce the risk by using a Glyde dam for this kind of oral sex play.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
