Your Question:

Dear Experts,

I have been masterbating since I was 12, and I am now 14. Is it normal for me to be loose down there, but my vagina to still be tight? Is there anything I can do?

kittty108

The Answer:

Dear kittty108,

Yes, it's normal. Every woman's vulva is made up of the same parts, but each looks different. The outer labia (lips) are two folds of skin and fatty tissue that are covered with pubic hair after puberty and somewhat cover the rest of the vulva. They can be large or small, short or long, and even two different sizes. This is all normal and part of what makes us each unique. They can be sexually sensitive and can swell a little when a woman gets aroused. There's really no way to change the size or shape of the labia without major surgery.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
