Yes, a woman can urinate while she's wearing a tampon. There are two different openings in a woman's vulva. A tampon is worn inside the opening of the vagina — the stretchable passage that connects a woman's outer sex organs (the vulva) with her internal reproductive organ, the uterus. Urine leaves the body through the other opening, the opening of the urethra — in both women and men.
