Your Question:

Dear Experts,

does mastrubating daily reduces sperm count in future!!!!!

HARRIS

The Answer:

Dear HARRIS,

No, masturbation does not reduce sperm count. However, a recent study suggests that increased number of ejaculations may lower sperm counts temporarily. Although one study actually suggested that sperm count increases with increased ejaculation, it seems that most guys who ejaculate frequently find that there is less volume of semen and sperm when they ejaculate ("come"). However, masturbating daily or ejaculating frequently does not reduce sperm count in later life. Sperm only makes up about one percent of ejaculate. The two testes (testicles) produce and store sperm starting at the time of puberty, which continues through much of adult life.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
