Your Question:

Dear Experts,

can any guy tell if a girl fakes an orgasm?

jake458

The Answer:

Dear jake458,

Not really. The best way to find out if someone has just had an orgasm is to ask. Communication is an important part of satisfying and safer sex. Women — and men — often fake orgasm. The most common reasons are concern for their partners' feelings, wanting to appear normal, avoiding conflict, enhancing sexual excitement, and wanting sexual activity to end.

Remember, everyone has different kinds of orgasms. Some are very strong and powerful, and others are smaller and more subtle. And an individual's response to orgasm — whether they are vocal or not — also varies widely. In other words, just because someone is moaning loudly, it doesn't mean she or he is having an orgasm. And just because someone is very quiet, it doesn't mean she or he isn't having an orgasm.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
