Your Question:

Dear Experts,

My butt is extremely hairy do all guys have hairy butts?

munkynz

The Answer:

Dear munkynz,

Many people have hair around the anus and on their buttocks ("butt"), and this is totally normal. People have hair in different places of the body, and there is no need to do anything about it unless someone wants to.

If a person does decide to remove body hair, she or he needs to keep in mind that shaving in sensitive areas can lead to razor burn and in-grown hairs — both of which can be itchy and painful. An electric razor is also safer than a safety razor for removing unwanted hair.

Whether someone chooses to shave, trim, or remove body hair is ultimately a personal choice, and it's usually done for cosmetic reasons. If people choose to trim their body hair, the amount they decide to remove is up to them.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
