Your Question:

Dear Experts,

What are the first signs of pregnancy?

aeveland

The Answer:

Dear aeveland,

The symptoms of pregnancy are
  • a missed period
  • nausea
  • inexplicable fatigue
  • sore or enlarged breasts
  • headaches
  • frequent urination
However, not all women may experience these symptoms. The only way to be sure of a pregnancy is to take a pregnancy test. If a woman is worried that she might be pregnant, the first thing she needs to do is find out for sure if she is — by either taking a home pregnancy test or by going to a health clinic for testing. To make an appointment at a Planned Parenthood health center near you, call 1-800-230-PLAN.

Hope this information helps!
